UniScale: Unified Scale-Aware 3D Reconstruction for Multi-View Understanding via Prior Injection for Robotic Perception

We present UniScale, a unified, scale-aware multi-view 3D reconstruction framework for robotic applications that flexibly integrates geometric priors through a modular, semantically informed design. In vision-based robotic navigation, the accurate extraction of environmental structure from raw image sequences is critical for downstream tasks. UniScale addresses this challenge with a single feed-forward network that jointly estimates camera intrinsics and extrinsics, scale-invariant depth and point maps, and the metric scale of a scene from multi-view images, while optionally incorporating auxiliary geometric priors when available. By combining global contextual reasoning with camera-aware feature representations, UniScale is able to recover the metric-scale of the scene. In robotic settings where camera intrinsics are known, they can be easily incorporated to improve performance, with additional gains obtained when camera poses are also available. This co-design enables robust, metric-aware 3D reconstruction within a single unified model. Importantly, UniScale does not require training from scratch, and leverages world priors exhibited in pre-existing models without geometric encoding strategies, making it particularly suitable for resource-constrained robotic teams. We evaluate UniScale on multiple benchmarks, demonstrating strong generalization and consistent performance across diverse environments. We will release our implementation upon acceptance.

ConsID-Gen: View-Consistent and Identity-Preserving Image-to-Video Generation

Image-to-Video generation (I2V) animates a static image into a temporally coherent video sequence following textual instructions, yet preserving fine-grained object identity under changing viewpoints remains a persistent challenge. Unlike text-to-video models, existing I2V pipelines often suffer from appearance drift and geometric distortion, artifacts we attribute to the sparsity of single-view 2D observations and weak cross-modal alignment. Here we address this problem from both data and model perspectives. First, we curate ConsIDVid, a large-scale object-centric dataset built with a scalable pipeline for high-quality, temporally aligned videos, and establish ConsIDVid-Bench, where we present a novel benchmarking and evaluation framework for multi-view consistency using metrics sensitive to subtle geometric and appearance deviations. We further propose ConsID-Gen, a view-assisted I2V generation framework that augments the first frame with unposed auxiliary views and fuses semantic and structural cues via a dual-stream visual-geometric encoder as well as a text-visual connector, yielding unified conditioning for a Diffusion Transformer backbone. Experiments across ConsIDVid-Bench demonstrate that ConsID-Gen consistently outperforms in multiple metrics, with the best overall performance surpassing leading video generation models like Wan2.1 and HunyuanVideo, delivering superior identity fidelity and temporal coherence under challenging real-world scenarios. We will release our model and dataset at https://myangwu.github.io/ConsID-Gen.

UniT: Unified Geometry Learning with Group Autoregressive Transformer

Recent feed-forward models have significantly advanced geometry perception for inferring dense 3D structure from sensor observations. However, its essential capabilities remain fragmented across multiple incompatible paradigms, including online perception, offline reconstruction, multi-modal integration, long-horizon scalability, and metric-scale estimation. We present UniT, a unified model built upon a novel Group Autoregressive Transformer, which reformulates these seemingly disparate capabilities within a single framework. The key idea is to treat groups of sensor observations as the basic autoregressive units and predict the corresponding point maps in an anchor-free and scale-adaptive manner. More specifically, diverse view configurations in both online and offline settings are naturally unified within a single group autoregression process. By varying the group size, online mode operates over multiple autoregressive steps with single-frame groups, whereas offline mode aggregates a multi-frame group in a single forward pass. Meanwhile, a queue-style KV caching mechanism ensures bounded autoregressive memory over long horizons. This is enabled by reducing long-range dependencies on early frames through anchor-free relational modeling, thereby allowing outdated memory to be discarded on the fly. To improve metric-scale generalization across scenes, a scale-adaptive geometry loss is further introduced within this framework. It couples relative geometric constraints with a partial absolute scale term, implicitly regularizing global scale and inducing a progressive transition from scale-invariant geometry to metric-scale solutions. Together with a dedicated modal attention module for integrating auxiliary modalities, UniT achieves state-of-the-art performance in unified geometry perception, as validated on ten benchmarks spanning seven representative tasks.

GeoMVD: Geometry-Enhanced Multi-View Generation Model Based on Geometric Information Extraction

Multi-view image generation holds significant application value in computer vision, particularly in domains like 3D reconstruction, virtual reality, and augmented reality. Most existing methods, which rely on extending single images, face notable computational challenges in maintaining cross-view consistency and generating high-resolution outputs. To address these issues, we propose the Geometry-guided Multi-View Diffusion Model, which incorporates mechanisms for extracting multi-view geometric information and adjusting the intensity of geometric features to generate images that are both consistent across views and rich in detail. Specifically, we design a multi-view geometry information extraction module that leverages depth maps, normal maps, and foreground segmentation masks to construct a shared geometric structure, ensuring shape and structural consistency across different views. To enhance consistency and detail restoration during generation, we develop a decoupled geometry-enhanced attention mechanism that strengthens feature focus on key geometric details, thereby improving overall image quality and detail preservation. Furthermore, we apply an adaptive learning strategy that fine-tunes the model to better capture spatial relationships and visual coherence between the generated views, ensuring realistic results. Our model also incorporates an iterative refinement process that progressively improves the output quality through multiple stages of image generation. Finally, a dynamic geometry information intensity adjustment mechanism is proposed to adaptively regulate the influence of geometric data, optimizing overall quality while ensuring the naturalness of generated images. More details can be found on the project page: https://sobeymil.github.io/GeoMVD.com.

Photo3D: Advancing Photorealistic 3D Generation through Structure-Aligned Detail Enhancement

Although recent 3D-native generators have made great progress in synthesizing reliable geometry, they still fall short in achieving realistic appearances. A key obstacle lies in the lack of diverse and high-quality real-world 3D assets with rich texture details, since capturing such data is intrinsically difficult due to the diverse scales of scenes, non-rigid motions of objects, and the limited precision of 3D scanners. We introduce Photo3D, a framework for advancing photorealistic 3D generation, which is driven by the image data generated by the GPT-4o-Image model. Considering that the generated images can distort 3D structures due to their lack of multi-view consistency, we design a structure-aligned multi-view synthesis pipeline and construct a detail-enhanced multi-view dataset paired with 3D geometry. Building on it, we present a realistic detail enhancement scheme that leverages perceptual feature adaptation and semantic structure matching to enforce appearance consistency with realistic details while preserving the structural consistency with the 3D-native geometry. Our scheme is general to different 3D-native generators, and we present dedicated training strategies to facilitate the optimization of geometry-texture coupled and decoupled 3D-native generation paradigms. Experiments demonstrate that Photo3D generalizes well across diverse 3D-native generation paradigms and achieves state-of-the-art photorealistic 3D generation performance.

4D-VGGT: A General Foundation Model with SpatioTemporal Awareness for Dynamic Scene Geometry Estimation

We investigate a challenging task of dynamic scene geometry estimation, which requires representing both spatial and temporal features. Typically, existing methods align the two features into a unified latent space to model scene geometry. However, this unified paradigm suffers from potential mismatched representation due to the heterogeneous nature between spatial and temporal features. In this work, we propose 4D-VGGT, a general foundation model with divide-and-conquer spatiotemporal representation for dynamic scene geometry. Our model is divided into three aspects: 1) Multi-setting input. We design an adaptive visual grid that supports input sequences with arbitrary numbers of views and time steps. 2) Multi-level representation. We propose a cross-view global fusion for spatial representation and a cross-time local fusion for temporal representation. 3) Multi-task prediction. We append multiple task-specific heads to spatiotemporal representations, enabling a comprehensive visual geometry estimation for dynamic scenes. Under this unified framework, these components enhance the feature discriminability and application universality of our model for dynamic scenes. In addition, we integrate multiple geometry datasets to train our model and conduct extensive experiments to verify the effectiveness of our method across various tasks on multiple dynamic scene geometry benchmarks.

MetaEarth3D: Unlocking World-scale 3D Generation with Spatially Scalable Generative Modeling

Recent generative AI models have achieved remarkable breakthroughs in language and visual understanding. However, although these models can generate realistic visual content, their spatial scale remains confined to bounded environments, preventing them from capturing how geographic environments evolve across thousands of kilometers or from modeling the spatial structure of the large-scale physical world. This limitation poses a critical challenge for ultra-wide-area spatial intelligence in Earth observation and simulation, revealing a deeper gap in generative AI: progress has relied primarily on scaling model parameters and training data, while overlooking spatial scale as a core dimension of intelligence. Here, motivated by this missing dimension, we investigate spatial scale as a new scaling axis in foundation models and present MetaEarth3D, the first generative foundation model capable of spatially consistent generation at the planetary scale. Taking optical Earth observation simulation as a testbed, MetaEarth3D enables the generation of multi-level, unbounded, and diverse 3D scenes spanning large-scale terrains, medium-scale cities, and fine-grained street blocks. Built upon 10 million globally distributed real-world training images, MetaEarth3D demonstrates both strong visual realism and geospatial statistical realism. Beyond generation, MetaEarth3D serves as a generative data engine for diverse virtual environments in ultra-wide spatial intelligence. We argue that this study may help empower next-generation spatial intelligence for Earth observation.

HERMES++: Toward a Unified Driving World Model for 3D Scene Understanding and Generation

Driving world models serve as a pivotal technology for autonomous driving by simulating environmental dynamics. However, existing approaches predominantly focus on future scene generation, often overlooking comprehensive 3D scene understanding. Conversely, while Large Language Models (LLMs) demonstrate impressive reasoning capabilities, they lack the capacity to predict future geometric evolution, creating a significant disparity between semantic interpretation and physical simulation. To bridge this gap, we propose HERMES++, a unified driving world model that integrates 3D scene understanding and future geometry prediction within a single framework. Our approach addresses the distinct requirements of these tasks through synergistic designs. First, a BEV representation consolidates multi-view spatial information into a structure compatible with LLMs. Second, we introduce LLM-enhanced world queries to facilitate knowledge transfer from the understanding branch. Third, a Current-to-Future Link is designed to bridge the temporal gap, conditioning geometric evolution on semantic context. Finally, to enforce structural integrity, we employ a Joint Geometric Optimization strategy that integrates explicit geometric constraints with implicit latent regularization to align internal representations with geometry-aware priors. Extensive evaluations on multiple benchmarks validate the effectiveness of our method. HERMES++ achieves strong performance, outperforming specialist approaches in both future point cloud prediction and 3D scene understanding tasks. The model and code will be publicly released at https://github.com/H-EmbodVis/HERMESV2.

Dual-Pathway Geometry-Aware MLLM for Spatial Intelligence

Spatial understanding of the physical world from 2D visual inputs hinges on two complementary forms of geometric knowledge: holistic 3D structural perception and fine-grained metric scale estimation. Existing multimodal large language models (MLLMs) typically address only one facet, ingesting either depth maps or point clouds as additional model inputs, which incurs substantial computational overhead and inherits the generalization limitations of upstream prediction models. We propose GAMSI, a dual-pathway Geometry-Aware MLLM for Spatial Intelligence that takes only RGB images as input while internalizing both forms of geometric prior within a unified autoregressive backbone. Specifically, we introduce Metric-Structure Decoupled Queries (MSDQ) which employ two groups of learnable queries to respectively extract dense metric signals and sparse structural cues from the shared visual context, with a task-decoupled attention mask further preventing the two pathways from contaminating each other. Building on this, an Expert-Guided Visual Grounding (EVG) module projects the aggregated cues back to frame-level visual features and aligns them with vision foundation models, which serve purely as training-time supervision, rather than as model inputs. We further build a multi-task spatial instruction-tuning dataset (MTS) comprising 152{,}776 samples spanning 13 task types and three visual modalities, consolidated from six public datasets. Trained with a two-stage curriculum, GAMSI achieves state-of-the-art performance on seven spatial intelligence benchmarks.

MoGe-3: Fine-Detail Monocular Geometry Estimation with Self-Guided Sparse Volumetric Refinement

Monocular geometry estimation has recently achieved impressive performance across diverse scenes. However, state-of-the-art models still face notable distortion in local 3D structure, especially in fine details, like thin structures and small objects. We attribute this limitation to an architectural mismatch: most current models decode 3D geometry within a 2D parameterization, where feature interactions are governed by image-plane proximity rather than true 3D spatial relationships. This inadvertently mixes features from geometrically distant surfaces, resulting in over-smoothed geometry particularly around thin or elongated structure. In this paper, we propose MoGe-3, a fine-detail monocular geometry estimation model with Self-Guided Sparse 3D Refinement (SSR) that lifts monocular geometry modeling from 2D image space to 3D space for high-fidelity metric-scale point maps. MoGe-3 lifts the coarse point map from a foundation base model onto a sparse voxel shell and refines it via SSR. The SSR employs sparse convolutions that aggregate features based on 3D spatial locality, avoiding feature mixing across depth discontinuities. Extensive experiments on diverse datasets demonstrate that MoGe-3 significantly outperforms existing approaches in recovering fine detailed 3D geometry across both quantitative metrics and qualitative visualizations. EVA01: Unified Native 3D Understanding and Generation via Mixture-of-Transformers

This paper addresses the challenge of integrating 3D meshes as a native modality within Multimodal Large Language Models (MLLMs). Diffusion-based large reconstruction models decouple semantic understanding from geometric reasoning, operating as stateless reconstructors conditioned on dense 2D pixel priors. Recent MLLM-based methods treat the 3D modality as an external output rather than a native component of the multimodal sequence, making incremental adaptations without a systematic analysis of how geometric manifolds align with MLLM feature spaces. We introduce EVA01, a unified framework that extends the modality boundary of MLLMs to natively incorporate 3D mesh understanding, generation, and context-aware editing. Built upon a Mixture-of-Transformers (MoT) architecture, EVA01 decouples the model into a pre-trained Understanding Expert (E_{und}) and a structurally mirrored Generation Expert (E_{gen}), coupled through shared global self-attention with hard modality routing. This design aligns the semantic latent space of the MLLM backbone with the geometric manifold, enabling direct transfer of multimodal priors without intermediate 2D representations. Results show that EVA01 achieves state-of-the-art native text-to-3D generation fidelity and unlocks robust long-context multi-turn geometric editing with identity preservation, a capability fundamentally inaccessible to stateless reconstruction pipelines. Our findings further offer architectural insights for integrating 2D foundation models with 3D tasks, informing the design of 3D-native multimodal systems. Sat-DN: Implicit Surface Reconstruction from Multi-View Satellite Images with Depth and Normal Supervision

With advancements in satellite imaging technology, acquiring high-resolution multi-view satellite imagery has become increasingly accessible, enabling rapid and location-independent ground model reconstruction. However, traditional stereo matching methods struggle to capture fine details, and while neural radiance fields (NeRFs) achieve high-quality reconstructions, their training time is prohibitively long. Moreover, challenges such as low visibility of building facades, illumination and style differences between pixels, and weakly textured regions in satellite imagery further make it hard to reconstruct reasonable terrain geometry and detailed building facades. To address these issues, we propose Sat-DN, a novel framework leveraging a progressively trained multi-resolution hash grid reconstruction architecture with explicit depth guidance and surface normal consistency constraints to enhance reconstruction quality. The multi-resolution hash grid accelerates training, while the progressive strategy incrementally increases the learning frequency, using coarse low-frequency geometry to guide the reconstruction of fine high-frequency details. The depth and normal constraints ensure a clear building outline and correct planar distribution. Extensive experiments on the DFC2019 dataset demonstrate that Sat-DN outperforms existing methods, achieving state-of-the-art results in both qualitative and quantitative evaluations. The code is available at https://github.com/costune/SatDN.

Gimbal360: Differentiable Auto-Leveling for Canonicalized 360^circ Panoramic Image Completion

Diffusion models excel at 2D outpainting, but extending them to 360^circ panoramic completion from unposed perspective images is challenging due to the geometric and topological mismatch between perspective projections and spherical panoramas. We present Gimbal360, a principled framework that explicitly bridges perspective observations and spherical panoramas. We introduce a Canonical Viewing Space that regularizes projective geometry and provides a consistent intermediate representation between the two domains. To anchor in-the-wild inputs to this space, we propose a Differentiable Auto-Leveling module that stabilizes feature orientation without requiring camera parameters at inference. Panoramic generation also introduces a topological challenge. Standard generative architectures assume a bounded Euclidean image plane, while Equirectangular Projection (ERP) panoramas exhibit intrinsic S^1 periodicity. Euclidean operations therefore break boundary continuity. We address this mismatch by enforcing topological equivariance in the latent space to preserve seamless periodic structure. To support this formulation, we introduce Horizon360, a curated large-scale dataset of gravity-aligned panoramic environments. Extensive experiments show that explicitly standardizing geometric and topological priors enables Gimbal360 to achieve state-of-the-art performance in structurally consistent 360^circ scene completion.

Feed-Forward 3D Scene Modeling: A Problem-Driven Perspective

Reconstructing 3D representations from 2D inputs is a fundamental task in computer vision and graphics, serving as a cornerstone for understanding and interacting with the physical world. While traditional methods achieve high fidelity, they are limited by slow per-scene optimization or category-specific training, which hinders their practical deployment and scalability. Hence, generalizable feed-forward 3D reconstruction has witnessed rapid development in recent years. By learning a model that maps images directly to 3D representations in a single forward pass, these methods enable efficient reconstruction and robust cross-scene generalization. Our survey is motivated by a critical observation: despite the diverse geometric output representations, ranging from implicit fields to explicit primitives, existing feed-forward approaches share similar high-level architectural patterns, such as image feature extraction backbones, multi-view information fusion mechanisms, and geometry-aware design principles. Consequently, we abstract away from these representation differences and instead focus on model design, proposing a novel taxonomy centered on model design strategies that are agnostic to the output format. Our proposed taxonomy organizes the research directions into five key problems that drive recent research development: feature enhancement, geometry awareness, model efficiency, augmentation strategies and temporal-aware models. To support this taxonomy with empirical grounding and standardized evaluation, we further comprehensively review related benchmarks and datasets, and extensively discuss and categorize real-world applications based on feed-forward 3D models. Finally, we outline future directions to address open challenges such as scalability, evaluation standards, and world modeling.

CLNeRF: Continual Learning Meets NeRF

Novel view synthesis aims to render unseen views given a set of calibrated images. In practical applications, the coverage, appearance or geometry of the scene may change over time, with new images continuously being captured. Efficiently incorporating such continuous change is an open challenge. Standard NeRF benchmarks only involve scene coverage expansion. To study other practical scene changes, we propose a new dataset, World Across Time (WAT), consisting of scenes that change in appearance and geometry over time. We also propose a simple yet effective method, CLNeRF, which introduces continual learning (CL) to Neural Radiance Fields (NeRFs). CLNeRF combines generative replay and the Instant Neural Graphics Primitives (NGP) architecture to effectively prevent catastrophic forgetting and efficiently update the model when new data arrives. We also add trainable appearance and geometry embeddings to NGP, allowing a single compact model to handle complex scene changes. Without the need to store historical images, CLNeRF trained sequentially over multiple scans of a changing scene performs on-par with the upper bound model trained on all scans at once. Compared to other CL baselines CLNeRF performs much better across standard benchmarks and WAT. The source code, and the WAT dataset are available at https://github.com/IntelLabs/CLNeRF. EarthCrafter: Scalable 3D Earth Generation via Dual-Sparse Latent Diffusion

Despite the remarkable developments achieved by recent 3D generation works, scaling these methods to geographic extents, such as modeling thousands of square kilometers of Earth's surface, remains an open challenge. We address this through a dual innovation in data infrastructure and model architecture. First, we introduce Aerial-Earth3D, the largest 3D aerial dataset to date, consisting of 50k curated scenes (each measuring 600m x 600m) captured across the U.S. mainland, comprising 45M multi-view Google Earth frames. Each scene provides pose-annotated multi-view images, depth maps, normals, semantic segmentation, and camera poses, with explicit quality control to ensure terrain diversity. Building on this foundation, we propose EarthCrafter, a tailored framework for large-scale 3D Earth generation via sparse-decoupled latent diffusion. Our architecture separates structural and textural generation: 1) Dual sparse 3D-VAEs compress high-resolution geometric voxels and textural 2D Gaussian Splats (2DGS) into compact latent spaces, largely alleviating the costly computation suffering from vast geographic scales while preserving critical information. 2) We propose condition-aware flow matching models trained on mixed inputs (semantics, images, or neither) to flexibly model latent geometry and texture features independently. Extensive experiments demonstrate that EarthCrafter performs substantially better in extremely large-scale generation. The framework further supports versatile applications, from semantic-guided urban layout generation to unconditional terrain synthesis, while maintaining geographic plausibility through our rich data priors from Aerial-Earth3D. Aligned Novel View Image and Geometry Synthesis via Cross-modal Attention Instillation

We introduce a diffusion-based framework that performs aligned novel view image and geometry generation via a warping-and-inpainting methodology. Unlike prior methods that require dense posed images or pose-embedded generative models limited to in-domain views, our method leverages off-the-shelf geometry predictors to predict partial geometries viewed from reference images, and formulates novel-view synthesis as an inpainting task for both image and geometry. To ensure accurate alignment between generated images and geometry, we propose cross-modal attention distillation, where attention maps from the image diffusion branch are injected into a parallel geometry diffusion branch during both training and inference. This multi-task approach achieves synergistic effects, facilitating geometrically robust image synthesis as well as well-defined geometry prediction. We further introduce proximity-based mesh conditioning to integrate depth and normal cues, interpolating between point cloud and filtering erroneously predicted geometry from influencing the generation process. Empirically, our method achieves high-fidelity extrapolative view synthesis on both image and geometry across a range of unseen scenes, delivers competitive reconstruction quality under interpolation settings, and produces geometrically aligned colored point clouds for comprehensive 3D completion. SuperCarver: Texture-Consistent 3D Geometry Super-Resolution for High-Fidelity Surface Detail Generation

Conventional production workflow of high-precision mesh assets necessitates a cumbersome and laborious process of manual sculpting by specialized 3D artists/modelers. The recent years have witnessed remarkable advances in AI-empowered 3D content creation for generating plausible structures and intricate appearances from images or text prompts. However, synthesizing realistic surface details still poses great challenges, and enhancing the geometry fidelity of existing lower-quality 3D meshes (instead of image/text-to-3D generation) remains an open problem. In this paper, we introduce SuperCarver, a 3D geometry super-resolution pipeline for supplementing texture-consistent surface details onto a given coarse mesh. We start by rendering the original textured mesh into the image domain from multiple viewpoints. To achieve detail boosting, we construct a deterministic prior-guided normal diffusion model, which is fine-tuned on a carefully curated dataset of paired detail-lacking and detail-rich normal map renderings. To update mesh surfaces from potentially imperfect normal map predictions, we design a noise-resistant inverse rendering scheme through deformable distance field. Experiments demonstrate that our SuperCarver is capable of generating realistic and expressive surface details depicted by the actual texture appearance, making it a powerful tool to both upgrade historical low-quality 3D assets and reduce the workload of sculpting high-poly meshes.

Points-to-3D: Structure-Aware 3D Generation with Point Cloud Priors

Recent progress in 3D generation has been driven largely by models conditioned on images or text, while readily available 3D priors are still underused. In many real-world scenarios, the visible-region point cloud are easy to obtain from active sensors such as LiDAR or from feed-forward predictors like VGGT, offering explicit geometric constraints that current methods fail to exploit. In this work, we introduce Points-to-3D, a diffusion-based framework that leverages point cloud priors for geometry-controllable 3D asset and scene generation. Built on a latent 3D diffusion model TRELLIS, Points-to-3D first replaces pure-noise sparse structure latent initialization with a point cloud priors tailored input formulation.A structure inpainting network, trained within the TRELLIS framework on task-specific data designed to learn global structural inpainting, is then used for inference with a staged sampling strategy (structural inpainting followed by boundary refinement), completing the global geometry while preserving the visible regions of the input priors. In practice, Points-to-3D can take either accurate point-cloud priors or VGGT-estimated point clouds from single images as input. Experiments on both objects and scene scenarios consistently demonstrate superior performance over state-of-the-art baselines in terms of rendering quality and geometric fidelity, highlighting the effectiveness of explicitly embedding point-cloud priors for achieving more accurate and structurally controllable 3D generation. DynamicVerse: A Physically-Aware Multimodal Framework for 4D World Modeling

Understanding the dynamic physical world, characterized by its evolving 3D structure, real-world motion, and semantic content with textual descriptions, is crucial for human-agent interaction and enables embodied agents to perceive and act within real environments with human-like capabilities. However, existing datasets are often derived from limited simulators or utilize traditional Structurefrom-Motion for up-to-scale annotation and offer limited descriptive captioning, which restricts the capacity of foundation models to accurately interpret real-world dynamics from monocular videos, commonly sourced from the internet. To bridge these gaps, we introduce DynamicVerse, a physical-scale, multimodal 4D world modeling framework for dynamic real-world video. We employ large vision, geometric, and multimodal models to interpret metric-scale static geometry, real-world dynamic motion, instance-level masks, and holistic descriptive captions. By integrating window-based Bundle Adjustment with global optimization, our method converts long real-world video sequences into a comprehensive 4D multimodal format. DynamicVerse delivers a large-scale dataset consisting of 100K+ videos with 800K+ annotated masks and 10M+ frames from internet videos. Experimental evaluations on three benchmark tasks, namely video depth estimation, camera pose estimation, and camera intrinsics estimation, demonstrate that our 4D modeling achieves superior performance in capturing physical-scale measurements with greater global accuracy than existing methods.

MMFormalizer: Multimodal Autoformalization in the Wild

Autoformalization, which translates natural language mathematics into formal statements to enable machine reasoning, faces fundamental challenges in the wild due to the multimodal nature of the physical world, where physics requires inferring hidden constraints (e.g., mass or energy) from visual elements. To address this, we propose MMFormalizer, which extends autoformalization beyond text by integrating adaptive grounding with entities from real-world mathematical and physical domains. MMFormalizer recursively constructs formal propositions from perceptually grounded primitives through recursive grounding and axiom composition, with adaptive recursive termination ensuring that every abstraction is supported by visual evidence and anchored in dimensional or axiomatic grounding. We evaluate MMFormalizer on a new benchmark, PhyX-AF, comprising 115 curated samples from MathVerse, PhyX, Synthetic Geometry, and Analytic Geometry, covering diverse multimodal autoformalization tasks. Results show that frontier models such as GPT-5 and Gemini-3-Pro achieve the highest compile and semantic accuracy, with GPT-5 excelling in physical reasoning, while geometry remains the most challenging domain. Overall, MMFormalizer provides a scalable framework for unified multimodal autoformalization, bridging perception and formal reasoning. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first multimodal autoformalization method capable of handling classical mechanics (derived from the Hamiltonian), as well as relativity, quantum mechanics, and thermodynamics. Seamless and Efficient Interactions within a Mixed-Dimensional Information Space

Mediated by today's visual displays, information space allows users to discover, access and interact with a wide range of digital and physical information. The information presented in this space may be digital, physical or a blend of both, and appear across different dimensions - such as texts, images, 3D content and physical objects embedded within real-world environment. Navigating within the information space often involves interacting with mixed-dimensional entities, visually represented in both 2D and 3D. At times, interactions also involve transitioning among entities represented in different dimensions. We introduce the concept of mixed-dimensional information space, encompassing entities represented in both 2D and 3D. Interactions within the mixed-dimensional information space should be seamless and efficient: users should be able to focus on their primary tasks without being distracted by interactions with or transitions between entities. While incorporating 3D representations into the mixed-dimensional information space offers intuitive and immersive ways to interact with complex information, it is important to address potential seams and inefficiencies that arise while interacting with both 2D and 3D entities. This dissertation introduces new interactive techniques and systems to realize seamless and efficient interactions within the mixed-dimensional information space. This dissertation introduces three interactive systems: MemoVis which aims to use emergent generative AI to help users create reference images for 3D design feedback; PaperToPlace which demonstrates how paper-based instruction documents can be transformed and spatialized into a context-aware MR experience; and VRContour which explores how contour delineation workflow can be brought into VR.

Latent Riemannian Flow Matching for Geometry-Grounded 3D Foundation Models

Geometric foundation models, such as the Visual Geometry Grounded Transformer (VGGT), provide strong 3D priors from unposed images. However, such models operate purely in a feed-forward, deterministic regime, \ie~they cannot generate plausible geometry beyond what the input views directly support. Generative models for 3D scenes, on the other hand, must rely on strong geometric priors to produce coherent outputs from sparse inputs. We bridge these two paradigms by performing flow matching directly in VGGT's latent space, leveraging its learned 3D priors without committing to any explicit downstream representation such as Gaussians, meshes, or video-VAE latents. This requires respecting the latent geometry: VGGT tokens occupy a product of high-dimensional hyperspheres on which standard Euclidean flow matching fails. We address this with a Riemannian Flow Matching framework defined on a product manifold of four hyperspheres, aligned with VGGT's multi-scale encoder, which keeps generated tokens on the valid data manifold required by the frozen decoding heads. On RealEstate10K, ScanNet++ and ETH3D, our method achieves strong performance against recent scene generation baselines in both per-view appearance and aggregated 3D geometry, establishing latent-space flow matching on geometric foundation models as a viable paradigm for 3D generation. VIEW2SPACE: Studying Multi-View Visual Reasoning from Sparse Observations

Multi-view visual reasoning is essential for intelligent systems that must understand complex environments from sparse and discrete viewpoints, yet existing research has largely focused on single-image or temporally dense video settings. In real-world scenarios, reasoning across views requires integrating partial observations without explicit guidance, while collecting large-scale multi-view data with accurate geometric and semantic annotations remains challenging. To address this gap, we leverage physically grounded simulation to construct diverse, high-fidelity 3D scenes with precise per-view metadata, enabling scalable data generation that remains transferable to real-world settings. Based on this engine, we introduce VIEW2SPACE, a multi-dimensional benchmark for sparse multi-view reasoning, together with a scalable, disjoint training split supporting millions of grounded question-answer pairs. Using this benchmark, a comprehensive evaluation of state-of-the-art vision-language and spatial models reveals that multi-view reasoning remains largely unsolved, with most models performing only marginally above random guessing. We further investigate whether training can bridge this gap. Our proposed Grounded Chain-of-Thought with Visual Evidence substantially improves performance under moderate difficulty, and generalizes to real-world data, outperforming existing approaches in cross-dataset evaluation. We further conduct difficulty-aware scaling analyses across model size, data scale, reasoning depth, and visibility constraints, indicating that while geometric perception can benefit from scaling under sufficient visibility, deep compositional reasoning across sparse views remains a fundamental challenge.

The Data Manifold under the Microscope

A significant gap exists between theory and practice in deep learning. Generalization and approximation error bounds are often derived for simplified models or are too loose to be informative. Many rely on the manifold hypothesis and on geometric regularity such as intrinsic dimension, curvature, and reach. Progress requires insight into data-manifold geometry and suitable benchmarks, yet existing options are polarized: analytic manifolds with known geometry but limited applicability, or real-world datasets where geometry is only coarsely estimable. We introduce a benchmarking framework for studying data geometry. We repurpose and extend dSprites and COIL-20 with additional transformation dimensions and dense, axis-aligned sampling, and pair them with finite-difference estimators that recover curvature, reach, and volume at near-ground-truth accuracy in a regime where general-purpose estimators are unreliable or difficult to deploy. The framework is intended as a controlled testbed, useful as a calibration environment for geometric estimators and a sandbox for probing theoretical assumptions. To illustrate its use, we present two application studies, namely assessing the scaling behavior of the bounds of Genovese et al. and Fefferman et al., and tracking the layer-wise geometry of a β-VAE, highlighting the behavior of current bounds and the value of controlled benchmarks for guiding and validating future theory. A reference implementation is available at https://github.com/koulakis/manifold-microscope.

EpiGRAF: Rethinking training of 3D GANs

A very recent trend in generative modeling is building 3D-aware generators from 2D image collections. To induce the 3D bias, such models typically rely on volumetric rendering, which is expensive to employ at high resolutions. During the past months, there appeared more than 10 works that address this scaling issue by training a separate 2D decoder to upsample a low-resolution image (or a feature tensor) produced from a pure 3D generator. But this solution comes at a cost: not only does it break multi-view consistency (i.e. shape and texture change when the camera moves), but it also learns the geometry in a low fidelity. In this work, we show that it is possible to obtain a high-resolution 3D generator with SotA image quality by following a completely different route of simply training the model patch-wise. We revisit and improve this optimization scheme in two ways. First, we design a location- and scale-aware discriminator to work on patches of different proportions and spatial positions. Second, we modify the patch sampling strategy based on an annealed beta distribution to stabilize training and accelerate the convergence. The resulted model, named EpiGRAF, is an efficient, high-resolution, pure 3D generator, and we test it on four datasets (two introduced in this work) at 256^2 and 512^2 resolutions. It obtains state-of-the-art image quality, high-fidelity geometry and trains {approx} 2.5 times faster than the upsampler-based counterparts. Project website: https://universome.github.io/epigraf.

Multi-modal and Multi-scale Spatial Environment Understanding for Immersive Visual Text-to-Speech

Visual Text-to-Speech (VTTS) aims to take the environmental image as the prompt to synthesize the reverberant speech for the spoken content. The challenge of this task lies in understanding the spatial environment from the image. Many attempts have been made to extract global spatial visual information from the RGB space of an spatial image. However, local and depth image information are crucial for understanding the spatial environment, which previous works have ignored. To address the issues, we propose a novel multi-modal and multi-scale spatial environment understanding scheme to achieve immersive VTTS, termed M2SE-VTTS. The multi-modal aims to take both the RGB and Depth spaces of the spatial image to learn more comprehensive spatial information, and the multi-scale seeks to model the local and global spatial knowledge simultaneously. Specifically, we first split the RGB and Depth images into patches and adopt the Gemini-generated environment captions to guide the local spatial understanding. After that, the multi-modal and multi-scale features are integrated by the local-aware global spatial understanding. In this way, M2SE-VTTS effectively models the interactions between local and global spatial contexts in the multi-modal spatial environment. Objective and subjective evaluations suggest that our model outperforms the advanced baselines in environmental speech generation. The code and audio samples are available at: https://github.com/AI-S2-Lab/M2SE-VTTS.

Rethinking Transformers Pre-training for Multi-Spectral Satellite Imagery

Recent advances in unsupervised learning have demonstrated the ability of large vision models to achieve promising results on downstream tasks by pre-training on large amount of unlabelled data. Such pre-training techniques have also been explored recently in the remote sensing domain due to the availability of large amount of unlabelled data. Different from standard natural image datasets, remote sensing data is acquired from various sensor technologies and exhibit diverse range of scale variations as well as modalities. Existing satellite image pre-training methods either ignore the scale information present in the remote sensing imagery or restrict themselves to use only a single type of data modality. In this paper, we re-visit transformers pre-training and leverage multi-scale information that is effectively utilized with multiple modalities. Our proposed approach, named SatMAE++, performs multi-scale pre-training and utilizes convolution based upsampling blocks to reconstruct the image at higher scales making it extensible to include more scales. Compared to existing works, the proposed SatMAE++ with multi-scale pre-training is equally effective for both optical as well as multi-spectral imagery. Extensive experiments on six datasets reveal the merits of proposed contributions, leading to state-of-the-art performance on all datasets. SatMAE++ achieves mean average precision (mAP) gain of 2.5\% for multi-label classification task on BigEarthNet dataset. Our code and pre-trained models are available at https://github.com/techmn/satmae_pp.

PointNSP: Autoregressive 3D Point Cloud Generation with Next-Scale Level-of-Detail Prediction

Autoregressive point cloud generation has long lagged behind diffusion-based approaches in quality. The performance gap stems from the fact that autoregressive models impose an artificial ordering on inherently unordered point sets, forcing shape generation to proceed as a sequence of local predictions. This sequential bias emphasizes short-range continuity but undermines the model's capacity to capture long-range dependencies, hindering its ability to enforce global structural properties such as symmetry, consistent topology, and large-scale geometric regularities. Inspired by the level-of-detail (LOD) principle in shape modeling, we propose PointNSP, a coarse-to-fine generative framework that preserves global shape structure at low resolutions and progressively refines fine-grained geometry at higher scales through a next-scale prediction paradigm. This multi-scale factorization aligns the autoregressive objective with the permutation-invariant nature of point sets, enabling rich intra-scale interactions while avoiding brittle fixed orderings. Experiments on ShapeNet show that PointNSP establishes state-of-the-art (SOTA) generation quality for the first time within the autoregressive paradigm. In addition, it surpasses strong diffusion-based baselines in parameter, training, and inference efficiency. Finally, in dense generation with 8,192 points, PointNSP's advantages become even more pronounced, underscoring its scalability potential.

A Framework for Fast and Stable Representations of Multiparameter Persistent Homology Decompositions

Topological data analysis (TDA) is an area of data science that focuses on using invariants from algebraic topology to provide multiscale shape descriptors for geometric data sets such as point clouds. One of the most important such descriptors is {\em persistent homology}, which encodes the change in shape as a filtration parameter changes; a typical parameter is the feature scale. For many data sets, it is useful to simultaneously vary multiple filtration parameters, for example feature scale and density. While the theoretical properties of single parameter persistent homology are well understood, less is known about the multiparameter case. In particular, a central question is the problem of representing multiparameter persistent homology by elements of a vector space for integration with standard machine learning algorithms. Existing approaches to this problem either ignore most of the multiparameter information to reduce to the one-parameter case or are heuristic and potentially unstable in the face of noise. In this article, we introduce a new general representation framework that leverages recent results on {\em decompositions} of multiparameter persistent homology. This framework is rich in information, fast to compute, and encompasses previous approaches. Moreover, we establish theoretical stability guarantees under this framework as well as efficient algorithms for practical computation, making this framework an applicable and versatile tool for analyzing geometric and point cloud data. We validate our stability results and algorithms with numerical experiments that demonstrate statistical convergence, prediction accuracy, and fast running times on several real data sets.

Enhancing Pathological VLMs with Cross-scale Reasoning

Pathological images are inherently multi-scale, requiring pathologists to integrate evidence from global tissue architecture at low magnification to cellular morphology at higher magnification for accurate diagnosis. While existing pathological datasets for vision-language models (VLMs) include various scales, they often lack explicit cross-scale reasoning objectives. This limitation prevents VLMs from capturing essential cross-scale representations and learning evidence-based reasoning. To bridge this gap, we introduce the first cross-scale training and evaluation paradigm that formulates pathology interpretation as multi-magnification reasoning. However, creating such a task reveals a critical challenge: multi-image visual question answering (VQA) is prone to text-only shortcuts, which allow models to guess answers using magnification-dependent artifacts rather than visual evidence. To address this, we propose a leakage-aware curation pipeline that combines adversarial text-only screening with constraint-guided question design. Using this pipeline, we construct Scale-VQA, a high-quality benchmark with 4,685 multiple-choice questions grounded in 2,537 pathology images across multiple magnification levels. Finally, we present ScaleReasoner-R1, a model trained via reinforcement learning to optimize performance on cross-scale VQA tasks. ScaleReasoner-R1 achieves state-of-the-art performance on our cross-scale reasoning benchmark and generalizes to SOTA performance on established single-scale benchmarks. Findings suggest that even the limited cross-scale supervision can significantly improve pathological understanding. Code is available at https://github.com/iMVR-PL/ScaleReasoner-R1.

Sat3DGen: Comprehensive Street-Level 3D Scene Generation from Single Satellite Image

Generating a street-level 3D scene from a single satellite image is a crucial yet challenging task. Current methods present a stark trade-off: geometry-colorization models achieve high geometric fidelity but are typically building-focused and lack semantic diversity. In contrast, proxy-based models use feed-forward image-to-3D frameworks to generate holistic scenes by jointly learning geometry and texture, a process that yields rich content but coarse and unstable geometry. We attribute these geometric failures to the extreme viewpoint gap and sparse, inconsistent supervision inherent in satellite-to-street data. We introduce Sat3DGen to address these fundamental challenges, which embodies a geometry-first methodology. This methodology enhances the feed-forward paradigm by integrating novel geometric constraints with a perspective-view training strategy, explicitly countering the primary sources of geometric error. This geometry-centric strategy yields a dramatic leap in both 3D accuracy and photorealism. For validation, we first constructed a new benchmark by pairing the VIGOR-OOD test set with high-resolution DSM data. On this benchmark, our method improves geometric RMSE from 6.76m to 5.20m. Crucially, this geometric leap also boosts photorealism, reducing the Fréchet Inception Distance (FID) from sim40 to 19 against the leading method, Sat2Density++, despite using no extra tailored image-quality modules. We demonstrate the versatility of our high-quality 3D assets through diverse downstream applications, including semantic-map-to-3D synthesis, multi-camera video generation, large-scale meshing, and unsupervised single-image Digital Surface Model (DSM) estimation. The code has been released on https://github.com/qianmingduowan/Sat3DGen.

Let Geometry GUIDE: Layer-wise Unrolling of Geometric Priors in Multimodal LLMs

Multimodal Large Language Models (MLLMs) have achieved remarkable progress in 2D visual tasks but still exhibit limited physical spatial awareness when processing real-world visual streams. Recently, feed-forward geometric foundation models, which implicitly extract geometric priors, have provided a new pathway to address this issue. However, existing geometry-aware MLLMs are predominantly constrained by the paradigm of single deep-layer extraction and input-level fusion. This flattened fusion leads to the loss of local geometric details and causes semantic mismatches in the early layers. To break this bottleneck, we propose GUIDE (Geometric Unrolling Inside MLLM Early-layers), a progressive geometric priors injection framework. GUIDE performs multi-level sampling within the geometric encoder, comprehensively capturing multi-granularity features ranging from local edges to global topologies. Subsequently, we rigorously align and fuse these multi-level geometric priors step-by-step with the early layers of the MLLM. Building upon the injection of multi-granularity geometric information, this design guides the model to progressively learn the 2D-to-3D transitional process. Furthermore, we introduce a context-aware gating that enables the model to fetch requisite spatial cues based on current semantics, thereby maximizing the utilization efficiency of spatial priors and effectively suppressing redundant geometric noise. Extensive experiments demonstrate that GUIDE significantly outperforms existing baselines on multiple complex spatial reasoning and perception tasks, establishing a novel paradigm for integrating 3D geometric priors into large models.

Prior Availability in Industrial Visual Sim-to-Real: A Review of CAD-Guided and CAD-Unavailable Regimes

Industrial visual sim-to-real is often described as transferring from synthetic images to real images, but industrial deployment usually involves a broader mismatch between available evidence and required decisions. A system may be built from CAD renderings, simulated RGB-D observations, normal reference images, synthetic defects, pretrained feature spaces, or language prompts, yet deployed under different sensors, lighting, materials, fixtures, calibration, production variation, and rare defect modes. This review reframes industrial visual sim-to-real as a domain-gap problem organized by prior availability. We distinguish CAD-available settings, where explicit object geometry can support rendering, calibration, pose estimation, segmentation, and test-time geometric verification; CAD-unavailable settings, where geometry is replaced by normal-reference appearance, feature distributions, teacher-student residuals, synthetic anomaly assumptions, foundation features, or vision-language priors; and boundary-prior settings, where approximate models, templates, reference views, or semantic correspondences preserve only part of the CAD role. This framing connects CAD-based detection and 6D pose-estimation literature with industrial anomaly and surface-inspection literature that is usually reviewed separately. To make the taxonomy concrete, we use empirical anchors on T-LESS/BOP, MVTec AD, and VisA. The anchors show that CAD render count alone does not close transfer; source-distribution design, detector capacity, and small real calibration can matter more. They also show that CAD at test time creates a distinct verification channel through mask, pose, and depth consistency, whereas CAD-unavailable inspection relies on calibrated normality and feature deviation. The review therefore argues against a single cross-task leaderboard and instead asks what prior grounds the deployment decision.

Category-Aware 3D Object Composition with Disentangled Texture and Shape Multi-view Diffusion

In this paper, we tackle a new task of 3D object synthesis, where a 3D model is composited with another object category to create a novel 3D model. However, most existing text/image/3D-to-3D methods struggle to effectively integrate multiple content sources, often resulting in inconsistent textures and inaccurate shapes. To overcome these challenges, we propose a straightforward yet powerful approach, category+3D-to-3D (C33D), for generating novel and structurally coherent 3D models. Our method begins by rendering multi-view images and normal maps from the input 3D model, then generating a novel 2D object using adaptive text-image harmony (ATIH) with the front-view image and a text description from another object category as inputs. To ensure texture consistency, we introduce texture multi-view diffusion, which refines the textures of the remaining multi-view RGB images based on the novel 2D object. For enhanced shape accuracy, we propose shape multi-view diffusion to improve the 2D shapes of both the multi-view RGB images and the normal maps, also conditioned on the novel 2D object. Finally, these outputs are used to reconstruct a complete and novel 3D model. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of our method, yielding impressive 3D creations, such as shark(3D)-crocodile(text) in the first row of Fig. 1. MAtCha Gaussians: Atlas of Charts for High-Quality Geometry and Photorealism From Sparse Views

We present a novel appearance model that simultaneously realizes explicit high-quality 3D surface mesh recovery and photorealistic novel view synthesis from sparse view samples. Our key idea is to model the underlying scene geometry Mesh as an Atlas of Charts which we render with 2D Gaussian surfels (MAtCha Gaussians). MAtCha distills high-frequency scene surface details from an off-the-shelf monocular depth estimator and refines it through Gaussian surfel rendering. The Gaussian surfels are attached to the charts on the fly, satisfying photorealism of neural volumetric rendering and crisp geometry of a mesh model, i.e., two seemingly contradicting goals in a single model. At the core of MAtCha lies a novel neural deformation model and a structure loss that preserve the fine surface details distilled from learned monocular depths while addressing their fundamental scale ambiguities. Results of extensive experimental validation demonstrate MAtCha's state-of-the-art quality of surface reconstruction and photorealism on-par with top contenders but with dramatic reduction in the number of input views and computational time. We believe MAtCha will serve as a foundational tool for any visual application in vision, graphics, and robotics that require explicit geometry in addition to photorealism. OmniWorld: A Multi-Domain and Multi-Modal Dataset for 4D World Modeling

The field of 4D world modeling - aiming to jointly capture spatial geometry and temporal dynamics - has witnessed remarkable progress in recent years, driven by advances in large-scale generative models and multimodal learning. However, the development of truly general 4D world models remains fundamentally constrained by the availability of high-quality data. Existing datasets and benchmarks often lack the dynamic complexity, multi-domain diversity, and spatial-temporal annotations required to support key tasks such as 4D geometric reconstruction, future prediction, and camera-control video generation. To address this gap, we introduce OmniWorld, a large-scale, multi-domain, multi-modal dataset specifically designed for 4D world modeling. OmniWorld consists of a newly collected OmniWorld-Game dataset and several curated public datasets spanning diverse domains. Compared with existing synthetic datasets, OmniWorld-Game provides richer modality coverage, larger scale, and more realistic dynamic interactions. Based on this dataset, we establish a challenging benchmark that exposes the limitations of current state-of-the-art (SOTA) approaches in modeling complex 4D environments. Moreover, fine-tuning existing SOTA methods on OmniWorld leads to significant performance gains across 4D reconstruction and video generation tasks, strongly validating OmniWorld as a powerful resource for training and evaluation. We envision OmniWorld as a catalyst for accelerating the development of general-purpose 4D world models, ultimately advancing machines' holistic understanding of the physical world.

Euclid: Supercharging Multimodal LLMs with Synthetic High-Fidelity Visual Descriptions

Multimodal large language models (MLLMs) have made rapid progress in recent years, yet continue to struggle with low-level visual perception (LLVP) -- particularly the ability to accurately describe the geometric details of an image. This capability is crucial for applications in areas such as robotics, medical image analysis, and manufacturing. In this paper, we first introduce Geoperception, a benchmark designed to evaluate an MLLM's ability to accurately transcribe 2D geometric information from an image. Using this benchmark, we demonstrate the limitations of leading MLLMs, and then conduct a comprehensive empirical study to explore strategies for improving their performance on geometric tasks. Our findings highlight the benefits of certain model architectures, training techniques, and data strategies, including the use of high-fidelity synthetic data and multi-stage training with a data curriculum. Notably, we find that a data curriculum enables models to learn challenging geometry understanding tasks which they fail to learn from scratch. Leveraging these insights, we develop Euclid, a family of models specifically optimized for strong low-level geometric perception. Although purely trained on synthetic multimodal data, Euclid shows strong generalization ability to novel geometry shapes. For instance, Euclid outperforms the best closed-source model, Gemini-1.5-Pro, by up to 58.56% on certain Geoperception benchmark tasks and 10.65% on average across all tasks.

Ground4D: Consistency-Aware 4D Reconstruction from Monocular Video

Learning a 4D scene representation from a single monocular video that supports dynamic novel-view synthesis while maintaining faithful geometry over time remains challenging. Dynamic Gaussian Splatting achieves strong rendering performance through photometric optimization, yet does not explicitly enforce multi-view geometric consistency. In contrast, 3D foundation models recover coherent scene geometry and camera motion, but their point-based outputs are not designed for photorealistic rendering. We propose Ground4D, a geometry-grounded framework built on two stages. First, we perform geometry initialization via 3D foundation models, leveraging VGGT in a training-free manner to reconstruct multi-view-consistent 3D geometry and camera poses from monocular video. The recovered geometry provides a structured and reliable initialization for dynamic Gaussian representations. Second, we conduct geometry-consistency-aware refinement via dynamic Gaussian Splatting, optimizing the representation through differentiable rendering while maintaining multi-view geometric consistency across both observed and synthesized viewpoints. Furthermore, Ground4D inherently models the continuous 4D dynamics of the scene, naturally supporting rendering at arbitrary timestamps. By integrating foundation-level geometric priors into dynamic Gaussian optimization, Ground4D achieves stronger reconstruction fidelity and rendering performance, underscoring the role of geometry-grounded constraints in robust 4D scene modeling.

P3D-Bench: Benchmarking MLLMs for Parametric 3D Generation and Structural Reasoning

Multimodal large language models can write code to produce complex programs as well as use programs to do 3D modeling, which opens up a new avenue for 3D generation powered by their priors, world knowledge and reasoning. Yet existing benchmarks rarely evaluate 3D modeling through code. Such modeling demands more than runnable code: from a text or visual specification, a model must generate a parametric 3D program that is geometrically precise, semantically aligned and assembly-consistent. We introduce P3D-Bench, a benchmark for parametric 3D generation. Unlike a 3D mesh, a parametric 3D program exposes explicit dimensions, construction operations and part relations, revealing whether a model recovers a design's structure, not just its appearance. Under a unified protocol, P3D-Bench covers three task families (Text-to-3D, Image-to-3D and Assembly-3D) and scores each output for executability, geometric fidelity, topology, text-grounded constraints, multiview semantic alignment and part-level structure. We evaluate frontier MLLMs and text-only LLMs on 400 text cases, 400 image cases and 203 annotated assemblies, with domain-specific models as reference points. Our extensive evaluation yields three findings. First, assemblies are the hardest setting, where models still fail to compose multiple parts into a coherent structure. Second, models can often recover the global shape and semantic identity of the target object, yet fail to reproduce the precise parametric geometry specified by the input. Third, part-level modeling remains weak on assemblies, where models recover neither the geometry of each part nor the right number of parts. These results position P3D-Bench as a benchmark for evaluating precise parametric geometry and part-level structure in parametric 3D generation.

SOLIDGEO: Measuring Multimodal Spatial Math Reasoning in Solid Geometry

Geometry is a fundamental branch of mathematics and plays a crucial role in evaluating the reasoning capabilities of multimodal large language models (MLLMs). However, existing multimodal mathematics benchmarks mainly focus on plane geometry and largely ignore solid geometry, which requires spatial reasoning and is more challenging than plane geometry. To address this critical gap, we introduce SolidGeo, the first large-scale benchmark specifically designed to evaluate the performance of MLLMs on mathematical reasoning tasks in solid geometry. SolidGeo consists of 3,113 real-world K-12 and competition-level problems, each paired with visual context and annotated with difficulty levels and fine-grained solid geometry categories. Our benchmark covers a wide range of 3D reasoning subjects such as projection, unfolding, spatial measurement, and spatial vector, offering a rigorous testbed for assessing solid geometry. Through extensive experiments, we observe that MLLMs encounter substantial challenges in solid geometry math tasks, with a considerable performance gap relative to human capabilities on SolidGeo. Moreover, we analyze the performance, inference efficiency and error patterns of various models, offering insights into the solid geometric mathematical reasoning capabilities of MLLMs. We hope SolidGeo serves as a catalyst for advancing MLLMs toward deeper geometric reasoning and spatial intelligence.

WorldWarp: Propagating 3D Geometry with Asynchronous Video Diffusion

Generating long-range, geometrically consistent video presents a fundamental dilemma: while consistency demands strict adherence to 3D geometry in pixel space, state-of-the-art generative models operate most effectively in a camera-conditioned latent space. This disconnect causes current methods to struggle with occluded areas and complex camera trajectories. To bridge this gap, we propose WorldWarp, a framework that couples a 3D structural anchor with a 2D generative refiner. To establish geometric grounding, WorldWarp maintains an online 3D geometric cache built via Gaussian Splatting (3DGS). By explicitly warping historical content into novel views, this cache acts as a structural scaffold, ensuring each new frame respects prior geometry. However, static warping inevitably leaves holes and artifacts due to occlusions. We address this using a Spatio-Temporal Diffusion (ST-Diff) model designed for a "fill-and-revise" objective. Our key innovation is a spatio-temporal varying noise schedule: blank regions receive full noise to trigger generation, while warped regions receive partial noise to enable refinement. By dynamically updating the 3D cache at every step, WorldWarp maintains consistency across video chunks. Consequently, it achieves state-of-the-art fidelity by ensuring that 3D logic guides structure while diffusion logic perfects texture. Project page: https://hyokong.github.io/worldwarp-page/{https://hyokong.github.io/worldwarp-page/}.

WorldGrow: Generating Infinite 3D World

We tackle the challenge of generating the infinitely extendable 3D world -- large, continuous environments with coherent geometry and realistic appearance. Existing methods face key challenges: 2D-lifting approaches suffer from geometric and appearance inconsistencies across views, 3D implicit representations are hard to scale up, and current 3D foundation models are mostly object-centric, limiting their applicability to scene-level generation. Our key insight is leveraging strong generation priors from pre-trained 3D models for structured scene block generation. To this end, we propose WorldGrow, a hierarchical framework for unbounded 3D scene synthesis. Our method features three core components: (1) a data curation pipeline that extracts high-quality scene blocks for training, making the 3D structured latent representations suitable for scene generation; (2) a 3D block inpainting mechanism that enables context-aware scene extension; and (3) a coarse-to-fine generation strategy that ensures both global layout plausibility and local geometric/textural fidelity. Evaluated on the large-scale 3D-FRONT dataset, WorldGrow achieves SOTA performance in geometry reconstruction, while uniquely supporting infinite scene generation with photorealistic and structurally consistent outputs. These results highlight its capability for constructing large-scale virtual environments and potential for building future world models.

Deform360: A Massive Multi-view Visuotactile Dataset for Deformable World Models

Predicting object dynamics (i.e., world modeling) is a fundamental challenge for robotic manipulation, and modeling deformable objects presents a particularly difficult case due to their high-dimensional state spaces and complex material properties. While current world models approach this through two distinct paradigms: learning the dynamics over the 2D pixel space or more explicit 3D geometric space. A systematic understanding of their relative strengths and limitations remains elusive due to the lack of diverse, large-scale real-world data. To address this, we present Deform360, a large-scale visuotactile dataset featuring 198 daily-life objects, 1,980 interaction sequences, and over 215 hours of observations from 41 surround-view cameras and bimanual tactile grippers to capture both global motion and contact-induced local deformations. Leveraging a novel markerless visuotactile 3D tracking pipeline to extract dense geometry and motion, we systematically evaluate current state-of-the-art world models, comparing 2D video models against 3D particle models. Finally, we provide a preliminary demonstration indicating the real-world applicability of our dataset by performing robot planning tasks on deformable objects. Our analysis reveals key insights into the trade-offs between structural priors and scalability, providing a solid benchmark for future research in generalizable deformable object-centric world modeling. InvSplat: Inverse Feed-Forward Scene Splatting

Inverse rendering aims to recover both 3D geometry and physically meaningful material properties from images, enabling applications such as relighting and novel view synthesis. Optimization-based methods achieve high fidelity but require costly per-scene fitting, while image-space learning-based approaches often suffer from multi-view inconsistencies and lack an explicit 3D representation for stable novel view rendering. We present a feed-forward multi-view reconstruction framework for inverse rendering that directly predicts a structured 3D Gaussian representation with intrinsic material attributes. Each Gaussian primitive is parameterized by mean, normal, opacity, rotation, scale, albedo, metallic, and roughness, enabling a disentangled and physically grounded scene representation. Our model integrates priors from a material estimation network with a multi-view 3D reconstruction backbone, allowing joint prediction of geometry and reflectance parameters in a single forward pass. Experiments on synthetic and real-world datasets demonstrate improved multi-view consistency compared to 2D baselines, accurate material recovery, and stable novel view rendering. Our representation further supports physically-based relighting and more faithful modeling of view-dependent effects compared to existing RGB-based feed-forward reconstruction methods. Nautilus: Locality-aware Autoencoder for Scalable Mesh Generation

Triangle meshes are fundamental to 3D applications, enabling efficient modification and rasterization while maintaining compatibility with standard rendering pipelines. However, current automatic mesh generation methods typically rely on intermediate representations that lack the continuous surface quality inherent to meshes. Converting these representations into meshes produces dense, suboptimal outputs. Although recent autoregressive approaches demonstrate promise in directly modeling mesh vertices and faces, they are constrained by the limitation in face count, scalability, and structural fidelity. To address these challenges, we propose Nautilus, a locality-aware autoencoder for artist-like mesh generation that leverages the local properties of manifold meshes to achieve structural fidelity and efficient representation. Our approach introduces a novel tokenization algorithm that preserves face proximity relationships and compresses sequence length through locally shared vertices and edges, enabling the generation of meshes with an unprecedented scale of up to 5,000 faces. Furthermore, we develop a Dual-stream Point Conditioner that provides multi-scale geometric guidance, ensuring global consistency and local structural fidelity by capturing fine-grained geometric features. Extensive experiments demonstrate that Nautilus significantly outperforms state-of-the-art methods in both fidelity and scalability. The project page is at https://nautilusmeshgen.github.io.

From Orbit to Ground: Generative City Photogrammetry from Extreme Off-Nadir Satellite Images

City-scale 3D reconstruction from satellite imagery presents the challenge of extreme viewpoint extrapolation, where our goal is to synthesize ground-level novel views from sparse orbital images with minimal parallax. This requires inferring nearly 90^circ viewpoint gaps from image sources with severely foreshortened facades and flawed textures, causing state-of-the-art reconstruction engines such as NeRF and 3DGS to fail. To address this problem, we propose two design choices tailored for city structures and satellite inputs. First, we model city geometry as a 2.5D height map, implemented as a Z-monotonic signed distance field (SDF) that matches urban building layouts from top-down viewpoints. This stabilizes geometry optimization under sparse, off-nadir satellite views and yields a watertight mesh with crisp roofs and clean, vertically extruded facades. Second, we paint the mesh appearance from satellite images via differentiable rendering techniques. While the satellite inputs may contain long-range, blurry captures, we further train a generative texture restoration network to enhance the appearance, recovering high-frequency, plausible texture details from degraded inputs. Our method's scalability and robustness are demonstrated through extensive experiments on large-scale urban reconstruction. For example, in our teaser figure, we reconstruct a 4,km^2 real-world region from only a few satellite images, achieving state-of-the-art performance in synthesizing photorealistic ground views. The resulting models are not only visually compelling but also serve as high-fidelity, application-ready assets for downstream tasks like urban planning and simulation. Real-time Photorealistic Dynamic Scene Representation and Rendering with 4D Gaussian Splatting

Reconstructing dynamic 3D scenes from 2D images and generating diverse views over time is challenging due to scene complexity and temporal dynamics. Despite advancements in neural implicit models, limitations persist: (i) Inadequate Scene Structure: Existing methods struggle to reveal the spatial and temporal structure of dynamic scenes from directly learning the complex 6D plenoptic function. (ii) Scaling Deformation Modeling: Explicitly modeling scene element deformation becomes impractical for complex dynamics. To address these issues, we consider the spacetime as an entirety and propose to approximate the underlying spatio-temporal 4D volume of a dynamic scene by optimizing a collection of 4D primitives, with explicit geometry and appearance modeling. Learning to optimize the 4D primitives enables us to synthesize novel views at any desired time with our tailored rendering routine. Our model is conceptually simple, consisting of a 4D Gaussian parameterized by anisotropic ellipses that can rotate arbitrarily in space and time, as well as view-dependent and time-evolved appearance represented by the coefficient of 4D spherindrical harmonics. This approach offers simplicity, flexibility for variable-length video and end-to-end training, and efficient real-time rendering, making it suitable for capturing complex dynamic scene motions. Experiments across various benchmarks, including monocular and multi-view scenarios, demonstrate our 4DGS model's superior visual quality and efficiency.

Im4D: High-Fidelity and Real-Time Novel View Synthesis for Dynamic Scenes

This paper aims to tackle the challenge of dynamic view synthesis from multi-view videos. The key observation is that while previous grid-based methods offer consistent rendering, they fall short in capturing appearance details of a complex dynamic scene, a domain where multi-view image-based rendering methods demonstrate the opposite properties. To combine the best of two worlds, we introduce Im4D, a hybrid scene representation that consists of a grid-based geometry representation and a multi-view image-based appearance representation. Specifically, the dynamic geometry is encoded as a 4D density function composed of spatiotemporal feature planes and a small MLP network, which globally models the scene structure and facilitates the rendering consistency. We represent the scene appearance by the original multi-view videos and a network that learns to predict the color of a 3D point from image features, instead of memorizing detailed appearance totally with networks, thereby naturally making the learning of networks easier. Our method is evaluated on five dynamic view synthesis datasets including DyNeRF, ZJU-MoCap, NHR, DNA-Rendering and ENeRF-Outdoor datasets. The results show that Im4D exhibits state-of-the-art performance in rendering quality and can be trained efficiently, while realizing real-time rendering with a speed of 79.8 FPS for 512x512 images, on a single RTX 3090 GPU.

GREAT: Geometry-Intention Collaborative Inference for Open-Vocabulary 3D Object Affordance Grounding

Open-Vocabulary 3D object affordance grounding aims to anticipate ``action possibilities'' regions on 3D objects with arbitrary instructions, which is crucial for robots to generically perceive real scenarios and respond to operational changes. Existing methods focus on combining images or languages that depict interactions with 3D geometries to introduce external interaction priors. However, they are still vulnerable to a limited semantic space by failing to leverage implied invariant geometries and potential interaction intentions. Normally, humans address complex tasks through multi-step reasoning and respond to diverse situations by leveraging associative and analogical thinking. In light of this, we propose GREAT (GeometRy-intEntion collAboraTive inference) for Open-Vocabulary 3D Object Affordance Grounding, a novel framework that mines the object invariant geometry attributes and performs analogically reason in potential interaction scenarios to form affordance knowledge, fully combining the knowledge with both geometries and visual contents to ground 3D object affordance. Besides, we introduce the Point Image Affordance Dataset v2 (PIADv2), the largest 3D object affordance dataset at present to support the task. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of GREAT. The code and dataset are available at https://yawen-shao.github.io/GREAT/.

Hi3D: Pursuing High-Resolution Image-to-3D Generation with Video Diffusion Models

Despite having tremendous progress in image-to-3D generation, existing methods still struggle to produce multi-view consistent images with high-resolution textures in detail, especially in the paradigm of 2D diffusion that lacks 3D awareness. In this work, we present High-resolution Image-to-3D model (Hi3D), a new video diffusion based paradigm that redefines a single image to multi-view images as 3D-aware sequential image generation (i.e., orbital video generation). This methodology delves into the underlying temporal consistency knowledge in video diffusion model that generalizes well to geometry consistency across multiple views in 3D generation. Technically, Hi3D first empowers the pre-trained video diffusion model with 3D-aware prior (camera pose condition), yielding multi-view images with low-resolution texture details. A 3D-aware video-to-video refiner is learnt to further scale up the multi-view images with high-resolution texture details. Such high-resolution multi-view images are further augmented with novel views through 3D Gaussian Splatting, which are finally leveraged to obtain high-fidelity meshes via 3D reconstruction. Extensive experiments on both novel view synthesis and single view reconstruction demonstrate that our Hi3D manages to produce superior multi-view consistency images with highly-detailed textures. Pruning-based Topology Refinement of 3D Mesh using a 2D Alpha Mask

Image-based 3D reconstruction has increasingly stunning results over the past few years with the latest improvements in computer vision and graphics. Geometry and topology are two fundamental concepts when dealing with 3D mesh structures. But the latest often remains a side issue in the 3D mesh-based reconstruction literature. Indeed, performing per-vertex elementary displacements over a 3D sphere mesh only impacts its geometry and leaves the topological structure unchanged and fixed. Whereas few attempts propose to update the geometry and the topology, all need to lean on costly 3D ground-truth to determine the faces/edges to prune. We present in this work a method that aims to refine the topology of any 3D mesh through a face-pruning strategy that extensively relies upon 2D alpha masks and camera pose information. Our solution leverages a differentiable renderer that renders each face as a 2D soft map. Its pixel intensity reflects the probability of being covered during the rendering process by such a face. Based on the 2D soft-masks available, our method is thus able to quickly highlight all the incorrectly rendered faces for a given viewpoint. Because our module is agnostic to the network that produces the 3D mesh, it can be easily plugged into any self-supervised image-based (either synthetic or natural) 3D reconstruction pipeline to get complex meshes with a non-spherical topology.

CraftsMan: High-fidelity Mesh Generation with 3D Native Generation and Interactive Geometry Refiner

We present a novel generative 3D modeling system, coined CraftsMan, which can generate high-fidelity 3D geometries with highly varied shapes, regular mesh topologies, and detailed surfaces, and, notably, allows for refining the geometry in an interactive manner. Despite the significant advancements in 3D generation, existing methods still struggle with lengthy optimization processes, irregular mesh topologies, noisy surfaces, and difficulties in accommodating user edits, consequently impeding their widespread adoption and implementation in 3D modeling software. Our work is inspired by the craftsman, who usually roughs out the holistic figure of the work first and elaborates the surface details subsequently. Specifically, we employ a 3D native diffusion model, which operates on latent space learned from latent set-based 3D representations, to generate coarse geometries with regular mesh topology in seconds. In particular, this process takes as input a text prompt or a reference image and leverages a powerful multi-view (MV) diffusion model to generate multiple views of the coarse geometry, which are fed into our MV-conditioned 3D diffusion model for generating the 3D geometry, significantly improving robustness and generalizability. Following that, a normal-based geometry refiner is used to significantly enhance the surface details. This refinement can be performed automatically, or interactively with user-supplied edits. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method achieves high efficacy in producing superior-quality 3D assets compared to existing methods. You See it, You Got it: Learning 3D Creation on Pose-Free Videos at Scale

Recent 3D generation models typically rely on limited-scale 3D `gold-labels' or 2D diffusion priors for 3D content creation. However, their performance is upper-bounded by constrained 3D priors due to the lack of scalable learning paradigms. In this work, we present See3D, a visual-conditional multi-view diffusion model trained on large-scale Internet videos for open-world 3D creation. The model aims to Get 3D knowledge by solely Seeing the visual contents from the vast and rapidly growing video data -- You See it, You Got it. To achieve this, we first scale up the training data using a proposed data curation pipeline that automatically filters out multi-view inconsistencies and insufficient observations from source videos. This results in a high-quality, richly diverse, large-scale dataset of multi-view images, termed WebVi3D, containing 320M frames from 16M video clips. Nevertheless, learning generic 3D priors from videos without explicit 3D geometry or camera pose annotations is nontrivial, and annotating poses for web-scale videos is prohibitively expensive. To eliminate the need for pose conditions, we introduce an innovative visual-condition - a purely 2D-inductive visual signal generated by adding time-dependent noise to the masked video data. Finally, we introduce a novel visual-conditional 3D generation framework by integrating See3D into a warping-based pipeline for high-fidelity 3D generation. Our numerical and visual comparisons on single and sparse reconstruction benchmarks show that See3D, trained on cost-effective and scalable video data, achieves notable zero-shot and open-world generation capabilities, markedly outperforming models trained on costly and constrained 3D datasets. Future Rendering neq Future Surface: A Benchmark and Dataset for Dynamic Surface Reconstruction Beyond the Observed Window

Dynamic-scene reconstruction is almost always evaluated inside the observed time window, yet deployment settings such as AR overlays, robot interaction, and anticipatory planning need the future surface: the geometry at times beyond those captured. No standard benchmark measures this. We introduce FutureSurf, a controlled diagnostic benchmark and dataset for future-time surface reconstruction that trades scene diversity for exact future ground truth and falsification controls. A method trains on the observed first 75% of a sequence; we score its extracted per-frame surface on the held-out future by Chamfer distance, reporting absolute future CD as the primary score and the future/observed gap as a diagnostic. The dataset contains eight analytically defined controlled motions, including three falsification controls, with exact per-frame ground-truth meshes. We also provide a ground-truth-side recoverability oracle. The release includes split files, scoring code, a benchmark card, and Croissant metadata. On the controlled motions, the DG-Mesh backbone leaves a 2.7-4.1times gap even for futures predictable in principle (four of five recoverable from observed motion by a fixed rule), while the falsification controls behave as designed (the surface-invariant motion shows no gap). Beyond the contributed dataset, the gap persists across six animated DG-Mesh asset scenes and a second backbone, Deformable-3DGS (2.0-6.6times; both share a deformation-MLP temporal model). The benchmark also shows that future rendering quality and future-surface accuracy are statistically decoupled, so the novel-view-synthesis metrics the field reports do not track future geometry. The future error is structured, concentrating where the surface moves. The dataset, evaluation toolkit, and scoring code are available on Hugging Face and GitHub (https://github.com/Ricky-S/futuresurf).

MV-Adapter: Multi-view Consistent Image Generation Made Easy

Existing multi-view image generation methods often make invasive modifications to pre-trained text-to-image (T2I) models and require full fine-tuning, leading to (1) high computational costs, especially with large base models and high-resolution images, and (2) degradation in image quality due to optimization difficulties and scarce high-quality 3D data. In this paper, we propose the first adapter-based solution for multi-view image generation, and introduce MV-Adapter, a versatile plug-and-play adapter that enhances T2I models and their derivatives without altering the original network structure or feature space. By updating fewer parameters, MV-Adapter enables efficient training and preserves the prior knowledge embedded in pre-trained models, mitigating overfitting risks. To efficiently model the 3D geometric knowledge within the adapter, we introduce innovative designs that include duplicated self-attention layers and parallel attention architecture, enabling the adapter to inherit the powerful priors of the pre-trained models to model the novel 3D knowledge. Moreover, we present a unified condition encoder that seamlessly integrates camera parameters and geometric information, facilitating applications such as text- and image-based 3D generation and texturing. MV-Adapter achieves multi-view generation at 768 resolution on Stable Diffusion XL (SDXL), and demonstrates adaptability and versatility. It can also be extended to arbitrary view generation, enabling broader applications. We demonstrate that MV-Adapter sets a new quality standard for multi-view image generation, and opens up new possibilities due to its efficiency, adaptability and versatility.
