What We Build

The Athena platform unifies SIEM, EDR, NDR, and XDR into a single AI-augmented operations layer:

• Athena Core — Unified SIEM/EDR/XDR foundation that centralizes telemetry across endpoints, cloud workloads, and critical infrastructure. Powered by Wazuh and extended by Athena engineering.
• Athena NIDS — Suricata-powered network intrusion detection with deep packet visibility across north-south and east-west traffic, including lateral movement and cloud network anomalies.
• Athena AI Analyst (Pallas) — Our proprietary AI analyst layer for alert triage, incident summarization, natural-language querying of security data, and action-oriented recommendations grounded in live telemetry.
• Athena XDR+ (Ageleia) — Aggregation and orchestration layer that applies contextual scoring and correlation to transform high-confidence detections into coordinated, multi-layer response.

Why We're on Hugging Face

This organization is the home of Athena Labs, our applied research arm working at the intersection of AI and cyber defense. Our focus areas include:

• Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) LLMs — Evaluating, fine-tuning, and training open-source language models for core analyst workloads: adversary tactics extraction, threat-actor attribution, report classification and mapping, risk and mitigation scoring, and vulnerability and software profiling.
• AthenaBench — Our evaluation suite for measuring frontier and open-source LLM performance on real-world CTI tasks. Latest results are published at athenasecuritygroup.ai/athena-labs/athenabench.
• Reinforcement Learning for Security — Applied RLVR-style training methodologies on mid-scale open-source models, with systematic, ablation-driven comparisons across model families and parameter scales.
